Are you going to be doing development work?

If not you will not need to worry about any of the devel files.

Check if the 3 files you listed installed
rpm -q gtk+-1.2.1-7 and so on
if they did not install because of the failed dependencies and you are
not going to be programing yet then remove the offending devel files
rpm -e gtk+-devel-1.0.6 and so on
re-install the needed files
rpm -Uvh gtk+-1.2.1-7 and so on
