Hi,
I am running mostly Debian 2.1 (slink) with the 2.2.5 kernel and I ran
into this problem when compiling gdm. In the archive of this list,
someone mentioned that adding "-lnls" or "-lnsl" to the list of
libraries that gdm links with might solve my problem. I tried it and it
worked like a charm. I hope that this helps you.
