multiload applet

I am having a problem with the multiload applet coredumping on startup.
This action takes the panel down with it.
I can reproduce it by adding the CPU monitor to the panel, then logging
off with the "save session" option, and logging back in. On login, the
panel gets killed and then restarts with no CPU monitor.
Mabe this problem is fixed in gnome-core-1.0.5?
