I've got an RPM built from the 1.0.5 tarball, and it's got problems.  None
of the few stock applets I tried (pager, load, and slashapp I think) would
even consider starting, though the panel did seem to make a few pixels of
room for them initially...  Haven't had a chance to look into it, but yes,
there seems to be something rather wrong...
