colors in mc/gmc

Hi all!
I have a question regarding gmc.
I have always gotten a colorless mc screen both from vc and from x when
running mc, I have a S3 vidoe card wich is pretty vanilla, and I was
wondering how I can get that blue mc screen instead of the colorless one I
have now
Anyone know ?
