Scrollbars and whatever

First off, I gotta' put in my 2 bits about how great gnome is...
  Great job people!  Love the look, and I think that my 
  Gnome+WindowMaker is faster than KDE!

Now, onto the important stuff...

I know this is probably more of a gtk thing, but, what do other
people think about the scrollbar widgets (gtk_[vh]scrollbar etc)?
Personally, I think the scrollbar gets too small and have a hard
time grabbing it with a mouse so I recently modified the minimum
size in gtkrange.c so that it wasn't so small.

Now, should this be an aspect of the widget set that is configurable
by the user?
