If you pick up a recent guile snapshot at
ftp://ftp.red-bean.com/pub/guile/ you should get a good modern
installation of Guile that renames it libqthreads.a

Then if you remove your config.cache (or do a "make -k maintainer-clean")
and redo the autogen.sh stuff you should be OK.
