Yeah, you're right.   I wish I'd seen that.   It would be nice if this
stuff were more automatic - I've tripped over several things I needed
to to to do a build that were completely non-obvious.   It's all very
well and good to have a pitfalls web page, but it would be better to
remove the pitfalls.

Sigh.
