should --FOR-PANEL be default (when compiling ORBit?)

hhmm
there have been a lot of problems circulating as far as panel/CORBA and
many (including mine) were due to compiling ORBit without the
--FOR-PANEL option.  I don't know what this option does internally to
orbit but wouldn't it be a good idea to make it default? I mean MANY
people have a problem.

if there is a good reason not to make it default, is it reall 
that good of a reason?
