Hi,

For ORBit I did:  ./autogen.sh --enable-FOR_PANEL
and it worked.
I've got an new (9/2) cvs update and now my panel works
again yepeeeeeee! 8-))
... well allmost, the applets still cause troubles
-> no Wanda <sniff>
I will make a backtrace of that. Thanks to Martin Baulig.
