Finally was able to join the list -- for a long white it wasn't
responding to my requests... 


I have a few questions about gnome/gtk and gmc.  

First off i'm having some problems with the new gmc.  I have gnome .30
and the libs to go with it, i downloaded the new mc (last night) and it
compiled without error.  Whenever i attempt to run the program it
starts, draws 30-90% of the directory contents window and then hangs.  I
have to issue a sig 9 kill in order to shut it down.  Does anyone have
any insight?
