Does mc 4.5.1 work with gnome 0.30?

I understand that mc 4.1.36 won't work with gnome 0.30, but I haven't quite 
figured out the status of 4.5.1.  It doesn't work for me because when I click 
on an item it always goes to the first entry in its internal array.  Should 
4.5.1 work with gnome 0.30?
