Hi,
I've got gnome 0.30 working from the *.tgz sources. Now I tried CVS. I
checked out glib, configured, compiled an installed it, no problem. Then
I checked out gtk+, but the autogen script stops with the following:
checking for extra flags for POSIX compliance... none needed
./configure: syntax error near unexpected token `AM_PATH_GLIB(1.1.3,,'
./configure: ./configure: line 1994: ` AM_PATH_GLIB(1.1.3,,'
Before running autogen in gtk+/ I did the following:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/tmp/testcvs/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export PATH=/tmp/testcvs/bin:$PATH
export ACLOCAL_FLAGS=-I/tmp/testcvs/share/aclocal
My System:
- RedHat 5.0 all patches applied (I hope so)
- libtool 1.2 compiled from source
rpm -qa gives the following:
- autoconf-2.12-3
- automake-1.2-3
- cvs-1.9-4
Whats up with my system?
Jan
