Thankyou folks,

I got the sources for mc and removed the existing mc package aon my
machine. also removed the gmc package that i had installed. I compiled
the mc sources without one hitch at all and now wonder of wonders GMC
actually works...it wasnt before what a surprise... only errror i am
getting with it is the popup menus when i drag and drop something are
empty ...........thankyou very much
