SIGSEGV with ee

ee gives SIGSEGV, when I try to open files frome the menu.
Running it with gdb shows the below :
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

>From CVS source, updated on 24th Oct, other required modules also updated
the same day.
