Hi folks!
Last night I tried to install GNOME 0.30 on my system, but found several old
library versions:
libglib < 1.1.3-1
gdk_imlib < 1.7
libgtk < 1.1.1.-2
libungif3g < 3.0.2
giflib3g < 3.0.5-2
The question is: should I uninstall previous versions of these libraries, or
just installing new ones would do it? Another thing is that I haven't found
giflib3g on a Debian FTP mirror, but I think installation said that it
needed either libungif3g or giflib3g, but not both. Is it ok to install just
libungif3g?
Thanks!
