Few questions for Audiotechque

Hi,

Got a couple of questions for atech:
* For the signal flow system, we want to have a nice front end.  We
would like to have blocks with input and output terminals that can be
connected visually with wires.  The blocks would need to have normal
widgets in them - eg a button for "configure".  Should the GnomeCanvas
be used?  AFAIK, it can't have normal widgets on it.

* We obviously want plug-in support.  Speed, latency and synchronisation
are the critical issues here (for real-time audio processing).  I'm
thinking along the lines of threads - so the plugins would need to link
in directly (at run time).  It appears this is what gmodule in glib
does.  Is gmodule suitable?  It looks pretty straightforward, but are
there any docs for gmodule?
