GNOME is supposed to hit a feature-freeze in a few weeks, and then
stable (1.0!) RPMs will be coming out after that once it's all
debugged (a month or two after that).  Gee, I'd love to find the
Salon writer who said "GNOME is essentially vaporware--more than
a year away from completion."
