Any thoughts of metastasizing GTK?

Has anyone considered 'metastasizing' the gtk look to other widget toolkits?

Possibly, someone could hack up Harmony and LessTif to sync with Gtk's classy monochrome bevel or any other style that a future gtk+ might be playing. Providing unix users with the option of setting their entire desktop look and feel (OpenStep, Qt, Tk, Xaw, Motif, Gtk, AWT) through a single mechanism would be nice. :)
