cvs misbehavior

Recently, it has happened to me, that a
"cvs -z3 update" didn't add new directories,
that are present in the repository to my
working directory. This is the case with
the new "gen_util" and "searchtool" directories.

I only noticed this, when configure and make
complained about missing directories, files in
existent directories were updated correctly.

The version of my cvs package is 1.9.
