The file "main.x" should be automatically generated from "main.c".
Try

    % make main.x

Anyway, I think this has been solved in CVS already, and I'm just in
the process of committing a brand new, all different version of
gnome-guile.  Man, this CVS-uebern-teich business is *really* slow.
I'm almost giving up...
