GNOME on S.u.S.E 5.1

Recently some people asked on the list whether Gnome compiles with
SuSE-Linux 5.1 which uses libc5. I have now successfully compiles the
following packages on an unchanged SuSE 5.1 system:

  gtk+
  imlib
  gnome-libs
  gnome-core
  gnome-objc
  gnome-utils
