Hello all:

        This is my first post to this list, and I haven't yet been able to
get gnome up & running yet.  I downloaded the latest tarballs from
gnome.org, but gnome-libs-0.13 won't compile.  It is the first one to
install, isn't it?  I'm using suse 5.2 on my box, and the kde sources
compile and install ok.
