There are a few problems with scores in Gnome mines.
- First the game looks for gnomine.[Tiny,Medium,Biiig].scores. The file
installed
is called gnomine.scores. No problem really, just some editing in
Makefile.am.
- What is the best approach for scores in custom mode? I checked the
windows version
and it doesen't record scores in this mode. Gnome mines on the other
hand looks for
files named gnomine.10x10x1.scores or something like this. Is it
possible to have
just one file for scores in custom mode and record the height, width
and number of
mines in the score file instead, or should we just forget about scores
in this mode?
Just a few questions from a concerned Gnome mines addict ;-)
Cheers
Kjartan
