What does 'config.log' tell you ? Guile 1.2 comes along with a
'build-guile' script which tells configure exactly how to link a program
with guile. You should make sure this script is in your PATH when you run
configure. Otherwise configure tries to guess what is needed to link with
guile, but this guess may be wrong especially if guile requires some
additional libraries or is installed in an unusual place.
