This a bad interaction between guile-1.2 (which is used to run
gen-typeinfo) and the latest slib (version 2c something, I think).

You either need to install a recent Guile snapshot from
ftp.red-bean.com, or downgrade to slib 2b.  Or you might wait a few
days until I have changed gnome-guile to use guile-gtk-0.9 which
doesn't need slib.
