ee: missing functionality

Hi!

I started using ee in earnest today and found that it is
lacking a key feature: control of image saved.  By that I mean
ee is lacking the ability to tune the compression ratio and
colour depth of images it saves.  It also doesn't give png
users the choice of filters to use or interlace capabilities.

If this is possible (I don't know if imlib allows this) could
it be made a TODO for ee?
