Cannot get gnome-core to build...

Hi there.  I'm kind of new go GNOME, so please bear with me.

I checked out the latest source from the CVS server.  I then built and 
installed GTK, mico, imlib, gnome-objc, gnome-guile (some problems here with 
guile-gtk, but since it's not needed, I didn't worry about it), gnome-libs, 
and finally, gnome-core.  What I did for gnome-core was just run ./autogen.sh 
and a bunch of errors were generated:

...with configure finally dropping out early at the end.  I read through the 
"HACKING" file in that directory and all of the necessary utilities listed are 
installed, execpt for gettext-0.10.32.  I have gettext-0.10 and cannot find 
gettext-0.10.32.  Would this make a difference?

Anybody have any suggestions?
