Problem with info2html filter in gnome-help-browser

The info filter in gnome-help-browser isn't escaping angle brackets.
(At least some of the time.)  An example of this can be found by looking at
the following node

    info:standards#Command_Variables

on a machine that has the GNU coding standards document installed
(It comes with the binutils package under redhat-5.0)
