Please hold off on the revert until tomorrow, I can't work on the problem
until tonight. I know what the problem is though. When I was trying to
make 24bit work properly on little endian machines I noticed that shared
images are never used, so I "fixed" the problem. It seems, however, that
id->x.shm is not properly being set, so I am going to figure out why, but
won't be able to do so until tonight.
