better RPM

Hi!
    Some IMHO's:

1)   Great to make CORBA interface to RPM and others package managers.
Hide distribution specifics from administrative applications.

2)   RPM may carry descriptions and icons  for each  application
inside.  Panel may scan RPM's to extract all this information  to menu.
