Error compiling libgtop

I have had problems compiling libgtop ver. 0.01 got from
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/extra-src/. It can't find a funtion named
gh_append2. Compiling libgtop-0.01/examples/.libs/third:

I have installed autoconf, automake, esound, gmp, gsl, gtk+, guile, imlib,
libtool, mico, gnome-libs, gnome-guile and gnome-objc, according to
instruction at www.gnome.org/start/. Gnome stuff is version 0.20.
