AVFS 0.2 (source, precompiled libc-5 and GLIBC binaries) are available
from:

   http://www.inf.bme.hu/~mszeredi/avfs/

AVFS is a C library add-on, which enables ALL programs to look inside
gzip, tar, ... files, without recompiling the programs or changing the
kernel. It works by using the LD_PRELOAD mechanism of the dynamic
linker.

New things since version 0.1:

  o Zip-file support
  o Partial rar-file support
  o Modular file-handlers
  o Many bugs fixed
