Does the anonymous CVS server refuse connections from machines that don't
resolve to a hostname? I have this machine here that has an IP address but
hasn't officially been assigned a hostname, and I get this error message
when doing "cvs login":
cvs [login aborted]: unrecognized auth response from anoncvs.gnome.org:
Just wanted to bring it up... I can't update my CVS sources here at work,
and tarball snapshots are so messy. :)
