glib ghash.c

Every gnome application I start emits the error message

** WARNING **: file ghash.c: line 150 (g_hash_table_lookup): assertion
"hash_table" failed.

My version of glib is current with the cvs tree, and has the
following in its Changelog.

        * glib.h:
        * ghash.c: Generic cleanup, added a function:
        (g_hash_table_lookup_full): Return whether the lookup succeeded,
        and also retrieve the key and value. This allows one to
        distinguish between failed lookup and finding a NULL, and also
        allows one to free a key in the hash.
