AnonCVS?

I'm not able to check something out via anoncvs.

CVSROOT=":pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome"
export CVSROOT

cvs login

I'm getting:

anonymous: No such user.

I wonder if this is my problem or if AnonCVS isnt' back yet.
