It is sgid games, but making it suid games is not needed. All you need to
do is have each game create their score files, owned by root, when they're
installed. 

The owner of the score file does *not* get changed when a game writes to
it (this goes for any file, not just score files).

Again, please read source code before commenting. There's a note about
this specifically in there.
