ANNOUNCE: GXSNMP PRE-ALPHA release is available

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

As the subject says, the first PRE-ALPHA (read very fragile) version of
gxsnmp is available for the brave.

There is alot of work still left to be done, but its functional enough to
play with. It might even amuse you and your friends.

Where to get it:

ftp://ftp.randomc.com/pub/gregm/gxsnmp.tar.gz
http://ftp.randomc.com/pub/gregm/gxsnmp.tar.gz

It is/will be under GPL so have at it.

Documentation? Use the source luke.

What you'll need:

gtk (of course) I'm using the CVS version but I suspect it will work with the
latest released version.

cmu-snmp libs (redhat has rpms available) Look in the README file for
the source dist location (sunsite if I remember correctly)

Eventually it will require an database of some sort (Mysql is planed).

Oh and if you want to get an idea of what it looks like:

Yeah the home page in that dir is from ~95 so its old and ugly.

Lemme know what you think. I accept all patches and or enhancements of any
kind. Now whether they get used or not.....
