don't worry ... it just doesn't work :) ... well the panel works great
(well nto so great with the new gtk but it will not segfault right away)
... the menu however will segfault on init so the only way to get it to
work right now is for it not to load the menu applet ... I think the
problem is in the gnomelib right now but I'm not sure as I haven't looked
into it ... I'm having bigger problems with the whole thing segfaulting
on exit (but I'm blaming it on gtk right now ... :) ...

so nothing's wrong ... it just doesn't work now ... :) ... if you want
to look at the menu code and tell me what's wrong that would be great
.... but I'll be rewriting the menu as soon as I get to it just as well
... (well not rewriting, but restructuring for sure)
