Knowing the problem, maybe you can track down what's causing it on your

I did the find and it found 
/usr/local/include/glibconfig.h
/usr/local/lib/glib/include/glibconfig.h
/home2/cvs/glib/glibconfig.h

so I removed /usr/local/include/glibconfig.h and it worked and seems to
be compiling well now. Let's see how it finnishes.
