Imlib Problems with strange TIFFs

CVS Imlib has severe problems with strange TIFF files under Linux
2.1.131ac11/Glibc 2.0.107 (CVS 12/17/98)/egcs 1.1.1. Specifically those
images which have "bad tags" or whatever, like the xpdf.tif (NeXT-like)
icon. Previously, these images would cause an error to be output, but
now, the program attempting to access the images segfaults without
warning. I have had this happen with both Window Maker's icon browser
and wmakerconf.
