Do a "dir /opt/gnome/share/aclocal". I bet that you will find that it is
missing a bunch of files. :) Seriously, you are probably going to need to
recompile the dependencies so that they will repopulate this directory, as
it is usually the case of these errors in cases sounding like yours.
