0.99 and Panel

Wierdness.. with the e15 rpm's distributed with the 0.99 RPM's, I cannot
get the panel to save it's state.  After going though lots of iterations
of getting them to start, I finally settled on running gnome-session
in the .xinitrc and then running e by hand... gnome-session picks it
up, and restarts it again when I run startx.

The panel, however, does *not* save it's state.

Under WindowMaker, the panel does just fine..

Is it just me?
