thats exactly what happens now - its just being a managed client the MW
gets to intercept anything the panel does - thus more round trips to
the server and more context switches - thus things take mroe effort to
get done. the client whould adjust its speed for "sliding" just like E
does for all of its animations - to be pixels per second pased.E has a
loop that times each operation to basically keep the actual speed
constant - slower machines just are jerkier.
