[gnome-list-request gnome org: Re: autogen.sh problems]

autogen.sh has started making a symbolic link from config.log
to /usr/share/libtool/config.log. Since (as a normal user) I don't
have write privileges on that file, the autogen script dies when
it tries to run configure. This makes automated compiles rather
difficult.:-)

  (also, gnome-core and gnome-guile won't compile,
but I assume that's just normal CVS alpha-ness. :-) )

  For interest--

  gnome-core death:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/local/gnome/include -I../intl -I../=
intl -I/usr/local/gnome/include -DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H -Icgnome-terminal.c:7=
81: parse error before `GnomeColorSelector'

gnome-guile death (I think some lines are truncated):

/bin/sh ./libtool --mode=3Dcompile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I/usr/l=
ocal/gnome/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/local/gnomecgcc -DHAVE_CONFI=
G_H -I. -I. -I. -I/usr/local/gnome/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/loca=
l/gnome/lib/glib/include -I/usr/local/gncgtk-glue.c:346: `GTK_RUN_MASK' und=
eclared here (not in a function)
gtk-glue.c:346: initializer element for `_gtk_signal_run_type_literals[3].v=
alue' is not constant
