GTK+ Problems

Hi, I have just re-checked out the gtk+ 1.1 dir out of anon cvs ( I
decided to rm -r my entire cvs dir, as something was screwy). I now get
compile problems with gtk+1.1 (OK, this problem is originally why I
killed my cvs dir). The output from make is:

gcc -g -O2 -DGTK_NO_CHECK_CASTS -Wall -DUSE_XIM -o .libs/testgtk
testgtk.o -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/lib .libs/libgtk-1.1.so -Wl,--rpath
-Wl,/usr/local/lib ../gdk/.libs/libgdk-1.1.so -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lXext

I have done a make maintainer-clean, and then run automake, autoconf
./configure, but the error still happens. Could someone please help, as
I decided to clean up my libs and includes, so that no stray bit were
lying around, and I decided to kill my current gnome installation. So
no gnome for me for now!!

Cheers,

Phil.
