Mico and RH5

Ok, for the life of me, I've been trying to hammer the mico src code off
of CVS to compile on my RH 5.0 box.  After repeated attempts with the
gcc-2.7.2.3, I moved on to egcs 1.0.2 ... nothing seems to work :(

The current error I get with egcs 1.0.2 is the following:
mkdepend.o: In function `mkdep(basic_string<char> const &,
vector<basic_string<char> > const &)':
mkdepend.o(.text+0x416): undefined reference to `ios virtual table'
mkdepend.o(.text+0x471): undefined reference to `istream::ios virtual
table'
mkdepend.o(.text+0x488): undefined reference to `ifstream::ios virtual
table'
 
This is beginning to drive me batty.  Anyone got suggestions?
