Compiling gnome-guile

I already got installed the scheme library (I got the tar
slib2c0.tar.gz), got the gnome-guile stuff from cvs and tried to
compile but got the following:

make[2]: Entering directory `/home/amedina/code/gnome/gnome-guile/guile-gtk'
./gen-typeinfo info gtk.defs ./guile.details >tmpt \
&& mv tmpt gtk-types.c
guile: Unbound variable: identity
make[2]: *** [gtk-types.c] Error 2

Did I miss something?
