No. Most of the Windows world is programming in C because it's
practically impossible to work with the Windows APIs in C. All the
tools, MFC, etc, are in C++ and you get to have fun if you don't
conform.
I think C++ would be a much less popular thing if MS hadn't decided
that MFC was the way to write to the GUI.
