I didn't get that far since the patches didn't apply cleanly to 1.4.x.
Could you tell me exactly which patches in 1.4.x I need to revert to get
it going? Did you implement UTF8 support in a different way than what's
in there now, or didn't you do anything about UTF8 yet?
